Etnomuza is a digital space of the ZRC SAZU Institute of Ethnomusicology, in which we present audio, handwritten, pictorial and video material, which is mainly related to the folk music and dance heritage of Slovenia. The published material is selected, placed in complete sets and equipped with metadata and accompanying studies. It primarily provides users with an insight into past musical practices and related social phenomena, but at the same time it can be a source for further studies or (re)production activities.
Etnomuza was created as part of the Research on Slovenian Folk Culture in Folklore Studies and Ethnology (P6-0111) research program, with financial support from the Public Agency for Research, Innovation and Science of the Republic of Slovenia (ARIS).
